About us
We are a liveaboard couple living our dream aboard (Chronos), our Bavaria 50 Holiday.
Stephan has been passionate about sailing since the age of 15 and began cruising at 18. After earning his Yacht and Boat Design degree in England, his professional journey often intertwined with the world of yachting, particularly in marketing.
In 2011, he founded Sail & Discover, organizing skippered sailing cruises across the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
Stephan’s greatest love, however, is Yuliia. Together, they’ve embraced life aboard (Chronos), creating unforgettable sailing experiences in the beautiful Ionian Sea, where they’ve temporarily “anchored” their lives.

Our motivations
After more than 40 years of sailing and cruising, Stephan has gained invaluable experience and seamanship, supported by his Yacht & Boat Design education —Knowledge he excited to share with you here.
The sailing and liveaboard community is truly special—close-knit, supportive, and always willing to lend a hand. Whether at sea or living aboard, we rely on each other, and in return, we help whenever we can. This blog is created in that same spirit of camaraderie and connection.
Yuliia will also share posts about her unique perspective on life aboard, offering insights that many women in the community will undoubtedly appreciate.
